*Want in on the action? Details of the contest at the end of the post.
I was very excited when I got a pretty red package in the mail two weeks ago. It was the wrap dress from Katy over at A Life Fulfilled. I immediately knew which (public) event I’d be wearing this magic garment. A friend of mine and my sister’s has been living in New Zealand since September and is back home in the ATL for a few weeks. A BBQ was thrown in his honor for his (temporary) homecoming two weekends ago.
Prior to the BBQ, I did watch (part of) the instructional DVD. The DVD shows a cute Indian girl displaying each of the 1 billion possiblities of how to wear this dress/skirt. This video was looooong and to her credit, the model/actress who displayed the options never once quit smiling. Katy, you were right – much harder than they looked. As you can see with how I opted to wear the dress, I chose an “easy” option, but it really was the most flattering for me.
It was fun to twirl.
Believe it or not, I actually got a lot of compliments on my muu muu version of the dress. The girls were much more intrigued once I told them how I got the dress and that the dress can be worn a million and one different ways. Katy, they wanted the dress. I told them that you got it on ebay. My sis wants one for her birthday and I found them at etrendy_ethnic store on ebay (I think this is where Katy got the one I’m wearing).

So who’s next? The rules are simple, if you win the drawing, I will send you the dress and the instructional DVD and you just have to wear the dress in public and supply photographic evidence on your blog and continue the contest by offering your readers a chance to sport the magic dress. If you want in, just leave me a note in the comments section and I’ll pick the lucky recipient on Friday. Since only 3 people read my blog, MB, I’m sending it to you if I don’t get any entries

Amazing! You look great! How funny that people thought you rocked it so hard that they, too, wanted one. Yep – that’s the same store I bought from. And I know that I’m not qualified to enter the drawing… so other readers, comment away! (Btw, I just posted about your post on my blog.)

You are too sweet! Mb would look totally awesome (especially now that she’s rocking the white streak again). I can see her doing one of the crazy/funky looks that involves a lot of twisting. Thanks for including me your post!!

Thanks, Lisa! It was actually a good choice for a hot day outside – very breezy. You can also wear it as a skirt – I think it would adequately cover your little baby bump
(You are the cutest pregnant person – hair flip and all!)

Hi
I would love to be the winner and would pass it along so the dress could have more adventures!
I tried on one of these wraps today at Fanueil Hall in Boston and thought it was super cute but the price $79 wasn’t so I passed.

Hi Jill, thanks for stopping by! My portion of the contest has passed, but MB over at http://the-life-of-mb.blogspot.com/ currently has the dress and has just opened her portion of the contest on her blog. Please go to her site and add a comment to get in the running. Good luck!
Oh and you can find this dress on ebay starting at 9.99 with $5 shipping.
